India used to generate a one fourth of the world's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), while Britain's share was just 2% during the same period. The lands of India were fertile and rich in all types of resources. Indian people were skilled and hardworking. Cotton cloth and muslin were in demand all over the world. Whereas India had no equal in the steel and shipbuilding industries. But the entire senenario changed after the Battle of Plassey and when the British left India in 1947, unlike Alexander, their cradles were full and India's hands were empty. The occupation of Bengal by the British after the Battle of Plassey, was actually the beginning of the industrial revolution which changed the world scenario completely. In this article, an attempt has been made to present a historical review of the degeneration of Indian civilization and economy.
2024-09-27T12:44:23+00:00 Itrat Batoolfaizan.arain@scholars.usindh.edu.pkRizwana Bibifaizan.arain@scholars.usindh.edu.pk
Akhtar Usman is a renowned name of modern Urdu poem. He is a representative of classical traditions and also a guardian and bearer of new style. He is aware of the art of protecting himself from the flaws and shortcomings of the modern style because of his study about classical traditions of poetry. Due to deep insight of classic, Akhtar’s intellectual structure is energetic and stable. He successfully saves the ground from the process of poetry destruction in the name of innovation. Even if he composes a poem on a traditional topic, he maintains innovation and presents it in such a way that traditionalism does not overwhelm the subtlety of the poem. “Malhaar” is a traditional topic of Urdu and Hindi poetry. The tendency to create poems on the themes of ragas and raginis, combining the imaginative system of poems and songs with the visual perception of ragas is observed in Akhtar’s poetry that shows his musicology. Poetry and music are quite similar to each other in terms of their artistic compositional elements. Akhtar presents music in poetry in a unique style that is a combination of tradition and modernity. His poem under the title of “Malhaar” is an example of such poetry. This article is based on the stylistics used in “Malhaar”. The article compresses the tone of the poem, its lyrics and comprehension under the consequences of stylistics.
2024-09-27T12:17:00+00:00Saeed Abdullahfaizan.arain@scholars.usindh.edu.pk Prof Dr Mustafeez Ahmad Alvifaizan.arain@scholars.usindh.edu.pk
Human guidance is not solely reliant on reason and observation; rather, revelation is an essential necessity for proper guidance. The need for revelation arises precisely in instances where reason and senses cannot assist. Therefore, it is not necessary for every aspect of revelation to be comprehensible through reason alone. Just as determining the color of an object does not require reason but is a matter of direct perception, similarly, the knowledge of religious beliefs is derived from revelation rather than pure intellect. Relying solely on reason for understanding these beliefs is not appropriate. Consequently, if one has faith in the complete wisdom of Allah, it must also be acknowledged that the comprehensive system established for guiding His servants is termed revelation. Thus, revelation is not just a religious belief; it is also a rational necessity, and denying it is essentially rejecting divine wisdom. The Orientalist approach in this regard needs a special focus, liable to evaluated in the light of Qur’an and Sunnah. The following research discuss the same. But it is a strange thing that in all of them, only in relation to the revelation revealed to the Holy Prophet, PBUH the Orientalists raised various kinds of objections. In which the revelation was the unconsciousness of the Prophet PBUH, the conditions of its revelation were epileptic, the spiritual events were fallacies and the Qur'an has been described as a book containing the teachings of Judaism and Christianity. Their intention with such objections is to make Muslims doubt the truth and authenticity of divine revelation.
2024-07-16T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 AL MISBAH RESEARCH JOURNALhttps://reinci.com/ojs3308/index.php/almisbah/article/view/256CULTURAL EFFECTS AND MUSLIM IDENTITY: AN ANALYSIS OF BOLLYWOOD CINEMATIC REELS AND ITS IMPACTS ON PAKISTANI SOCIETY, CIVILIZATION AND ETHOS2024-05-05T13:21:26+00:00Muhammad Asad Latifrockybaba091@gmail.comDr. Mahmood Ahmadmahmoodahmad.ist@iub.edu.pk
Culture is a person's or a nation's identity. The foundation of our culture is Islam, and Pakistani culture is built on this faith. The current study examines how Indian films influence Pakistani youth culture and how Indian cinema presents Muslims. Indian films are well-liked in Pakistan, particularly among young people, and have a significant impact on Pakistani youth. This research examined the linguistic, musical, and fashion preferences, as well as the marital practices of Pakistani viewers of Bollywood films, as a result of their Bollywood film consumption. Muslims have been inaccurately represented in Hindi films as non-modern feudal characters, terrorists, anti-national, villains, or anti-social characters, among other stereotypes based on their own mythology. Furthermore, the issue of the disappearing Muslim is particularly problematic in this liberalizing and globalizing age since there aren't many movies featuring Muslims as the main characters, even if there are a lot of Muslims who act both on and off screen. These films have a history of severely and heavily misrepresenting Muslims, and this has happened over time. Following the 26/11 assaults in Mumbai, there has been a noticeable increase in the unfavorable representation of Muslims in these films. This paper investigates, Bollywood now often depicts non-Indian Muslims negatively, and occasionally even Indian Muslims negatively affect society. Muslims are frequently depicted as being untrustworthy, hostile, nasty, malevolent, terrorist, and anti-national in nature.
2024-04-24T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 AL MISBAH RESEARCH JOURNALhttps://reinci.com/ojs3308/index.php/almisbah/article/view/280شاہد نقوی کی غزل گوئی کا تجزیاتی مطالعہ2024-09-27T12:50:31+00:00Muhammad Nazirfaizan.arain@scholars.usindh.edu.pkZulfiqar Alifaizan.arain@scholars.usindh.edu.pkSyed Sadaqat Alifaizan.arain@scholars.usindh.edu.pk
The ghazal, which evolved from the ode, has developed with remarkable distinction and thematic diversity, making it a crown jewel of Urdu poetry. Considered the pride of Urdu poetry, the ghazal has always been popular across different eras. It has continued to evolve from its beginnings with poets like Amir Khusro, Wali Deccani, Mir Taqi Mir, and Mirza Ghalib up to the present day. Among these poets is Shahid Naqvi, who has explored various forms of Urdu poetry, including the ghazal. Shahid Naqvi was a notable poet, known for his elegies, salutations, and ghazals. Following in the tradition of renowned elegy poet Anees, he also started his literary journey with ghazal writing. Remarkably, he gained the same recognition in ghazal writing as he did in elegy. Although he has published several collections of ghazals, "Zameer-e Masloob" stands out, including both ghazals and poems. Naqvi enriched his ghazals while staying true to classical styles. His poetry is rich in cultural and artistic value. This article provides an analysis of Shahid Naqvi's ghazal writing, showing how he transformed life's bitter experiences into poetry. He balances emotional depth with imagination and intellectual foundations. Naqvi addresses both personal and worldly sorrows, guiding his audience from despair to hope, and teaching them to face life's challenges. Understanding Naqvi's contributions to modern ghazal and its evolving themes is crucial for researchers, as it offers insights into Urdu literary trends and the global appeal of the ghazal.
2024-07-12T18:57:38+00:00Dr. Saadia Iftikhardrsaadiaiftikhar75@gmail.com
The relationship between husband and wife is such a beautiful bond that was first formed not only on the earth but on heaven.
