Abstract

In this modern era, after the domination of western civilization, Muslim religious literature is being reinterpreted in the light of western thoughts by modern exegetes. While construction the commentaries of the Quran and Hadiths, especially Muslim women are targeted and modern interpretations have given the cloak of Islam to western thoughts, comparing Muslim women of 1st century Hijri to modern women of the West. To justify women joining the armed force as well nursing field, a few pieces of Islamic stories bearing the presence of few Muslim women in Gazwat, have been joined in such a way that as if Muslim women of the 1st century were the same doctors and nurses serving in the battlefield as modern women did in West. Additionally, it has been insisted that Muslim women can not only serve in military affairs but also provide their services in Hospitals and the medical field by Sahabiyat. This paper has critically studied what are the basis of the arguments of modern exegetes and opposite thoughts about the presence of women in various Gazwat.
