Abstract

In Sikhism, there is a partial mention of all these teachings which are the basic part of Islam's belief in the hereafter.  Every human being has a fixed time of death  and the belief of capturing the human soul through angels is part of the teachings of Sikhism. On the contrary, those who do not acknowledge the reality of death and the grave, have been declared insane. The beliefs that have been stated in the Qurān and Hadith in a very clear and reasoned manner, those beliefs are alluded to in Gurū Granth Sāhib. In Sikhism, along with the concept of hereafter and resurrection, the belief which is fundamental, that is the concept of reincarnation. Reincarnation is an ancient Hindū theory that after death a person regains a new body based on his deeds. The teachings of Granth Sahib contain both the doctrines of reincarnation and resurrection which is a form of contradiction. The doctrine of reincarnation is completely contrary to Islam and is pure Hindū ideology.
